Tanjore big “Brihadeeswarar” temple..


Tanjore is a well-known city in India. Tanjore is named the “Rice bowl of South India”. Tanjore is one of the District in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.

Tanjore Brihadeeswarar temple Constructed by the Great Chola King Raja Raja Cholan in the year about 1010 A.D. The Brihadeeswarar temple is also known as “Tanjai Big Temple”.


Tanjore big temple is famous for South Indian art and architectures. This temple is Unbelievable as it main Tower (Kopuram) is the 65 meter high and This Temple tower is the tallest tower in the World.

The main tower never throws a shadow at noon throughout any period of the year. It is marvelous in design main tower of the “Tanjai Big Temple”.
